Pete Dye’s 1987 resort course at The Westin Rancho Mirage plays par 70 over 6,706 yards and carries all the Dye signatures: bulkheaded edges, awkward angles and greens that punish the wrong side. It was ranked the 22nd Most Improved course in 2025 and was formerly branded Westin Mission Hills.

Reopened After a 2026 Greens Rebuild

The course closed on May 1, 2026 for a full greens rebuild and reopened on August 29, 2026, so the putting surfaces are as fresh as anything in the valley right now. Resort rates generally run $115 to $160, with shoulder-season deals dipping far lower.
