Cathedral City Pride

Cathedral City LGBT+ Days – Greater Palm Springs event

Cathedral City LGBT+ Days gathers a pro-equality rally, flag raising, community walk, bed race, parade, drone-show watch party and a festival day around the Civic Center and amphitheater. The event has the friendly, civic feel of a Pride weekend built to include many ways of showing up, from a daytime walk to drag and headline entertainment. It is California’s first Pride event of the year, with the 2027 dates still to be announced.

Why go

  • Many ways to join: The schedule spans a rally, flag raising, walk, bed race, parade, watch party and amphitheater festival.
  • Community center: City Hall and the community amphitheater put civic gathering and entertainment in the same walkable hub.
  • Drag and headliners: The festival day brings headline acts and drag to the amphitheater stage.
  • Early access: Festival entry is free before 16:00, while reserved and VIP tables are ticketed.

What to expect

Expect a community-forward Pride celebration that shifts between civic ceremony, playful public events and stage entertainment. The activities are spread around the Civic Center and amphitheater, creating an atmosphere where people can arrive for one moment or spend the day moving through several. Daytime programming has a more open festival character; later, reserved and VIP seating gives the amphitheater portion a more produced concert feel. The mix is local, celebratory and broad enough for different comfort levels.

Know before you go

  • Confirm the next edition’s dates and individual-program schedule before making plans.
  • Arrive before 16:00 if you want the published free festival-entry window.
  • Reserve seating in advance if you prefer a table for the amphitheater programming.
