Civic Center Park is Palm Desert’s flagship public park, and its six lighted tennis courts are the largest free tennis block in the city. Open play runs from 6am to 9pm with no fee, which puts a genuine six-court complex within reach of anyone visiting without a club membership. The surrounding 70-acre park carries an amphitheater, rose garden, lakes and playgrounds, so the courts sit inside a destination rather than a parking-lot afterthought.

Courts & Surfaces

Six lighted public tennis courts managed alongside the Desert Recreation District at the Palm Desert Community Center. Dedicated pickleball players are directed to Freedom Park or the indoor community center courts rather than here.
