Desert Highland Park surrounds the James O. Jessie Unity Center in north Palm Springs, one of the city’s busiest neighborhood recreation hubs. Two pickleball courts sit alongside a gymnasium, a swimming pool, ball fields and a playground, and the center runs youth and senior programming through the year. Because this is a staffed community center rather than an unattended park court, availability follows center hours rather than park hours.
