Palm Desert Country Club dates to 1962 and is a William F. Bell design, renovated by Cary Bickler in 2006. It plays as a traditional tree-lined parkland course of about 6,357 yards with mountain views, a marked contrast to the target-golf layouts built in the valley two decades later.

The club publishes seasonal rates directly: $135 and $110 from mid-October through December, rising to $145 and $120 for the January to March peak, then easing to $115 and $100 late in April. An annual over-seed closure of roughly four weeks applies each autumn. The Bar & Grill has live music on Fridays.
