South Jackson Park offers two free public tennis courts in south Indio. These courts are unlighted, so play is a daylight proposition, which in practice means early morning from May through September and late afternoon in the cooler months. The trade-off is that they stay quiet when the lighted complexes across the valley are crowded, and there is never a fee or a wait list.

Courts & Surfaces

Two public tennis courts, unlighted, maintained by the City of Indio.

Hours & Access

Free daylight walk-on play, no lighting. Neighborhood parking. Indio Community Services at (760) 347-4263.
