The Roost Lounge is a warmly welcoming LGBTQ+ cocktail lounge, video lounge, and cabaret venue in Cathedral City. Come for crafted cocktails and community, then stay for a comfortable, atmospheric room where visitors can talk with friends, meet locals, and catch regular entertainment.

Cocktails and Community Connection

The lounge’s approach is captured in its tagline, “crafted cocktails, stronger community.” It is a gay bar that makes space for both a social night out and an easy conversation with friends or new acquaintances. Along with the bar and video lounge, the venue supports local charitable efforts through community food and backpack collections.

Cabaret, Drag, and Karaoke

Entertainment is a major part of the experience, with drag shows, disco, karaoke, cabaret, live performances, videos, and music in the mix. Karaoke and open-mic gatherings recur alongside ticketed headline cabaret performances. That broad lineup makes The Roost a good match for visitors who want their cocktail lounge with a lively stage and a community-minded audience.

Dinner Delivered to Your Table

There is no kitchen at The Roost Lounge. Instead, you can order food through your server from participating neighboring restaurants, with the meal delivered directly to your table. A recurring happy hour and drink specials give visitors another reason to stop in, whether they are arriving before a performance or settling in for a more casual lounge visit.

Add The Roost Lounge to your Cathedral City plans for crafted cocktails, genuine LGBTQ+ hospitality, and entertainment that invites you to linger.
